Lisa is a Board Certified Acupuncturist and Medical Herbalist in both Arizona and California. She is also qualified as a Doctor of Acupuncture in the state of Rhode Island.
Lisa received her Master’s Degree, with honors, from Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Los Angeles. While at Yo San University, Lisa managed the Clinic’s Herbal Lab Pharmacy and is a highly regarded herbalist. Lisa is board certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, NCCAOM, Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. She demonstrates an exceptional commitment to professional development and continual refinement of her clinical skills.
Lisa has extensive experience treating a variety of health concerns including women’s health, fertility, pregnancy, and menopause, as well as pain management and injury recovery, migraines, anxiety and sleep.
Lisa is fellow of the prestigious A.B.O.R.M group of reproductive medical specialists. A.B.O.R.M. certified reproductive acupuncturists are trained in both eastern and western reproductive medicine. Training in bio-medicine includes reproductive anatomy, physiology, pathology and differential diagnosis as well as ART (Assisted Reproductive Therapy) procedures and medications, recurrent miscarriage and pregnancy.
Before moving to Scottsdale, Lisa practiced in Malibu, California, specializing in women’s health, fertility, internal medicine, pain management, sports injury, and Facial Rejuvenation. She was featured on Extra TV, for her Acupuncture Facelift.
After graduation, Lisa served as the President of the Alumni Association and as a member of the Yo San University Board of Trustees. Lisa also completed an intense internship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Lisa has spoken on many topics including Weight Loss and Healthy Weight Management, and Emotional Detoxification.
