Getting Started With APIT

Dr. Price was first taught APIT during her gynecology internship in China at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1997. During her internship she learned about and practiced injecting various therapeutic Chinese herbs into specific acupuncture points to treat endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, pelvic pain, and uterine bleeding. At ilumina we are excited to be one of the few clinics in Arizona to offer APIT to our patients. APIT is best used in conjunction with a traditional acupuncture visit but can also be used alone. In accordance with our values and standards we only source the highest quality sterile injectables from the United States, China, and Europe.
